Aaron D. Gross

I am a father, husband, son and computer technology enthusiast.

I have spent 38 of my 42 years around computers, starting at the Dartmouth computer labs in 1966, back when John Kemeny was inventing BASIC, programs were stored in shoeboxes of punch cards, and Snoopy calendars printed on line printers were very cool. (Granted, I didn't do much at Dartmouth when I was 3, but it sure was fun typing punch cards and printing Snoopy calendars!) I remember when my high school got its first CRT to replace the loud yellow-paper teletype. I can now proudly attest that my children are among a rare third generation of computer acolytes whose parents and grandparents have accumulated more than a half-century of experience with computer technology. My father, a professor of computer science at a well-known Ivy League university since 1969, seems to have passed along a healthy dominant computer gene. My only regret is that my penmanship is atrocious due to an unusually early reliance on keyboards. Oh, well...

I specialize in providing technology solutions in the areas of application development, competitive analysis, advanced technology evaluation, Internet and intranet development, electronic commerce and research. I have provided practical computer solutions to meet the needs of businesses covering a range of industries including banks, insurance, health, museums, contract employment, satellite broadcasting and electronic commerce. More than anything concerning technology, I enjoy seeing and helping people and businesses become enthusiastic about new ways to apply technology to their lives or businesses. I have been an evangelist for the Internet and Internet technologies since the mid-1980's and continued this on my weekly Internet Commerce radio segment on TechTalk.  In fact, my wife-to-be and I courted by email way back in 1983 on the precursor of the Internet, DARPA-net.

Unlike a lot of "techies", I pride myself in having a life outside of work.

This is my "personal" domain.  Behind here, but not directly linkable, are many resources for my friends and family.

Feel free to contact me by email about my work and existing clients.  At present, I'm doing full time search engine marketing and consulting, making my clients richerSince I started, I've been getting almost more business by word of mouth than I can handle.  Thus, like the proverbial cobbler's kids, my site suffers from lack of attention.

I used to list my clients here but it triggered too much spam from headhunters.
